I’m sure Toronto FC would have liked to have dealt with their business in a smooth manner. With the way this offseason has gone, the smoother they could have brought Alejandro Pozuelo into the fold the better.
Well, as has been the case it seems ever since Tim Bezbatchenko decided to leave around Christmas time, nothing is going quite to plan for Toronto FC. With a potential legal dispute looming with the player’s current club Genk, it could be a while, if ever, before the Spaniard suits up for the club.
This all makes life very complicated for a club who are just a week away from starting their 2019 season with an away date in the Concacaf Champions League.
