Toronto FC has one foot in the Voyageurs Cup final after an unexpectedly dominant victory over the Montreal Impact at BMO Field.
Toronto FC was clearly saving all of its goals for the Canadian championship. After weeks of struggling to score TFC put four past Impact keeper Eric Kronberg in a 4-2 victory over the Montreal Impact. A pair of away goals would put a damper on what was an otherwise strong effort from Toronto FC.
Jordan Hamilton and Jonathan Osorio each had a pair of goals to give Toronto the victory. Michael Salazar and Didier Drogba replied for the Impact.
