Coming off perhaps their worst performance of the season, Toronto FC return to the scene of another contender for that title this evening: the New England Revolution’s Gillette Stadium.
Toronto lost 3-0 here back in early June. They were dealing with a couple key absences that day in Jozy Altidore and Michael Bradley and will do so again this weekend, with Altidore and Sebastian Giovinco just the start of the list of players unlikely to feature.
Victor Vazquez, at least, should play after illness and Tosaint Ricketts is a man in form having netted four goals in two games.
