Friday:
Vancouver started the match out strong with a goal by Cristian Techera at the 17’ mark. Yordy Reyna would give the Whitecaps a 2-0 lead at the 39’ mark. The Rapids got on the board thanks to Edgar Castillo (41’). They would go on to control the ball the majority of the match (53%) and take more shots than Vancouver, but they just couldn’t find the net.
