The United States men’s national team announced their squad for upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Peru, and there was at least one surprise on Dave Sarachan’s list. Toronto FC (and, until recently, USMNT) captain Michael Bradley has been handed a call-up to the USMNT.
The roster is a slightly more experienced one than the national team has brought to other recent camps, with Atlanta United goalkeeper Brad Guzan also making his return to the side.
Bradley has 140 caps for his country, and if he plays in both friendlies, he’ll pass Clint Dempsey for third on the USMNT’s all-time appearances list.
