The United States men’s national team has announced its squad for an upcoming friendly with Paraguay, and two Toronto FC players have been included. Marky Delgado and Alex Bono will take part in the camp in Cary, North Carolina.
The group chosen by Dave Sarachan is a very young one, meaning Michael Bradley, Jozy Altidore and Justin Morrow have all been left at home from TFC. Instead, Sarachan has opted for a group primarily consisting of promising but unproven youngsters playing abroad, including Levante’s Shaq Moore, Schalke’s Weston McKennie and Paris Saint-Germain’s Tim Weah.
