Manning eyes Serie A players for TFC

Despite the solid start to the new MLS campaign, with a 4-1-1 record and a newly-arrived Designated Player who is already paying dividends in Alejandro Pozuelo, Toronto FC are still looking for ways to strengthen the squad.

This was confirmed by TFC’s president Bill Manning, who was recently in Italy and also spoke to the Italian media about the interests of the Canadian club.

Reportedly, Manning was on a three-day tour on an invitation of Andrea D’Amico, agent of Sebastian Giovinco, which included visits to Milan vs. Lazio (at the San Siro), Chievo vs Napoli (at the Stadio Bentegod), and Atalanta vs Empoli (at the Atleti Azzurri d’Italia).
