TORONTO, Canada—Toronto FC forward Jozy Altidore revealed on Instagram today that he has undergone successful surgery on his right leg.
Altidore, 31, was substituted at halftime against New York City FC on August 7 and has subsequently missed the last two matches with what the team described as a lower-leg injury.
Coach Javier Perez was asked about the status of both Ralph Priso and Altidore following Wednesday night’s loss to Atlanta United. Here’s what he had to say:
“Yeah, at the moment, I don’t — I don’t have any updates specifically,” said Perez.
