TORONTO, Canada—Toronto FC will once again have to take on the reigning LigaMX champions Club León without the reigning MLS MVP Alejandro Pozuelo.
“We’re still a little bit banged up, but that’s part of it right now. The guys that have been injured are slowly coming off that list,” said Armas prior to Wednesday’s match. “I will tell you that Alejandro (Pozuelo) doesn’t look like he’ll going to be ready, but a bunch of other guys are day-to-day and will be considered.”
While Pozuelo won’t be available for Wednesday, there’s a chance Toronto FC do get some other names back into the mix, including Jozy Altidore who left last game with an apparent muscle-related leg injury.
