Sebastian Giovinco is not big on interviews, if he’s being honest, but he feels it’s the right time to talk.
The former Toronto FC striker is the club’s all-time leading goal scorer and was Major League Soccer’s most valuable player in 2015. He was named last year to a list of the Major League Soccer’s 25 greatest players. And he has been the subject of a rumoured return to the club since a somewhat contentious departure in 2019, after he led the organization to new heights during his four-year stay.
The reports have only intensified since August, when the 34-year-old and his most recent club, Saudi giant Al Hilal, mutually terminated his contract.
