At some point over the previous 14 months, during the darkest and most hopeless days of the pandemic, we’ve all looked inwards and asked ourselves: “What would it be, what would be that one thing that, for me, would signify that the pandemic is largely behind us, and things are back to normal?”
For some, it would be a return to their favourite bar or restaurant. For others, it may be taking that trip that’s been postponed for a year. Maybe it’s going to see a live concert or a film in an actual movie theatre. Whatever the individual case, we all have our personal totems that we could look to and say, “Yeah, we survived this.
