TORONTO, Canada—Toronto FC may be quietly shoring up their defence.
Waking the Red can confirm that 2016 MLS SuperDraft No. 2 overall selection Joshua Yaro has been on trial with the club.
The 26-year-old centreback has spent the past two seasons with USL Championship side San Antonio FC, appearing in 45 matches for the comeptitive side. Interestingly enough, that is the same club that TFC rookie Jordan Perruzza was loaned out to last season.
Prior to his stint with San Antonio, Yaro made 23 appearances in three seasons for the Philadelphia Union along with 15 matches played for Bethlehem Steel in the USL before he was eventually released by the Union in 2018.
