It might have been the only good news for the club in the past few weeks. After plenty of interest from Europe and other locations, Jonathan Osorio is staying home after signing a lucrative new contract with Toronto FC.
The deal will reportedly make him one of the top paid players on the squad as the 26-year-old Canadian enjoys far and away the best season of his career. It is in many ways a statement of recognition for the club’s most capped player, who recently played his 200th game for Toronto FC.
