Daniel Lovitz has earned an MLS job for the 2017 season with the Montreal Impact.
Lovitz looked likely to drop into the USL or NASL this year after being released by Toronto FC on the back of an underwhelming season, but will instead line up as an Eastern Conference rival of the Reds in the big league.
The versatile 25-year-old signs a one-year contract with Montreal with a club option for an extra two years after joining the Impact for preseason.
