Early penalty kick ruins TFC II's evening at BMO Field

Toronto FC II lost a second straight match with the 1-0 defeat by Bethlehem Steel FC on Saturday evening at BMO Field, ruining what would have otherwise been a rather jubilant double-header.

After a dour first half, the Toronto FC-Minnesota United FC match sprung to life in the second, resulting in a 3-2 win for the first team. With TFC II given the platform of a match at the big stadium, expectations were high that the side would be able to find their second win of the season.

Jason Bent made several changes to his starting eleven: Ben Spencer and Tsubasa Endoh were reinserted in the lineup, as was Ashtone Morgan, making his debut after a long injury layoff.
