Toronto FC recorded one of their most impressive victories of the season so far by ending the Chicago Fire’s unbeaten record at Toyota Park.
Chicago had won 10 and drawn one of their 11 home matches in 2017 coming into this game, but the Reds started and finished strongly and earned a 3-1 win on the back of goals from Marky Delgado, Nicolas Hasler and Sebastian Giovinco.
Hasler was involved when Delgado gave Toronto the lead, with his shot from inside the box spilled by Matt Lampson to allow the midfielder to tap in.
