The 28 year old winger is out of contract and reportedly interested in a return to North America
Reports came out Friday night from John Molinaro and Kurt Larson that the Reds had approached Canadian attacker Tosaint Ricketts. Ricketts has been out of contract since leaving Boluspor in Turkey in early 2016. The journeyman winger has played for five teams in the past five years, including Norway's Valerenga, Boluspor and Bucaspor in Turkey, and Hapoel Haifa in Israel.
Ricketts has been plagued with poor playing situations, having been used as a right back in Israel, becoming embroiled in unpaid wage disputes in Romania and Turkey, and lack of playing time and productivity in Norway.
