Canada striker Lucas Cavallini appears set to join Liga MX side Puebla on loan.
Cavallini currently plays for Penarol, the 48-time Uruguayan champions, and has scored 11 goals in 29 games in all competitions this season.
According to Montevideo-based journalist Alen Banewur, however, the 24-year-old is on the verge of signing for Puebla on a one-year loan deal with an option to buy.
Cavallini viajaría mañana a México. Ultima detalles en la embajada. Préstamo por 1 año al Puebla con opción. Deja dinero a Peñarol y Fénix.

“If Penarol give the OK, Lucas Cavallini will join Puebla of the Mexican Primera Division,” Banewur tweeted.
