TORONTO, Canada—Concacaf region represent!
On Thursday, Alphonso Davies and Bayern Munich will take on Mexican side Tigres UANL in the Club World Cup final with kickoff set for 1 p.m. EST.
Bayern reached the final following a 2-0 win over Egyptian foe Al Ahly on Monday. If Davies and the German giants can continue their hot form and find a way to get past Tigres, he’ll become the first Canadian international to hoist the Club World Cup.
Tigres, meanwhile, defeated Brazilian side Palmeiras 1-0 in the semifinals to become the first team from Concacaf to advance to a Club World Cup Final.
