TORONTO - BALTIMORE — Welington Castillo, whose nickname is Beef, certainly made mince meat out of the Blue Jays pitching staff this weekend.
After hitting two home runs on Friday, including a walk off 10th inning shot to beat the Blue Jays, Castillo smashed another on Saturday night at Camden Yards to lift the Orioles to a 7-5 win over Toronto. Heading into the weekend series against the Jays, the Baltimore catcher had one homer. Now he has four.
Prior to Castillo’s latest heroics, the Jays seemed to have the game under control. But with one out in seventh inning, Baltimore’s Chris Davis at first and the Jays leading 5-4, Toronto manager John Gibbons brought in reliever Danny Barnes to face Mark Trumbo.
