The ever-ascending Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is set for a whirlwind week.
The Blue Jays will promote Guerrero, baseball's top prospect per MLB Pipeline, to Triple-A Buffalo following his father's induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame on Sunday. Guerrero is in Cooperstown this weekend for the ceremony. The Blue Jays announced via Twitter the phenom will report to the Bisons on Tuesday.
The 19-year-old Guerrero has dominated Double-A pitching this season, slashing .402/.449/.671 with 34 extra-base hits (including 14 home runs) over 266 plate appearances.
