Right-hander Bartolo Colon picked up the victory after allowing three runs -- two earned -- on seven hits and a pair of walks. He entered this game having surrendered at least four runs in each of his last four starts but lowered his ERA to 6.80 ERA and struck out one while throwing 48 of his 81 pitches for strikes.
The loss went to Blue Jays right-hander Mike Bolsinger, who could not make it out of the fifth inning.
