According to the team’s MLB.com transactions page, LHP Zac Rosscup has cleared waivers and has been sent outright to Triple-A Buffalo. The Blue Jays designated Rosscup for assignment on May 28th.
Rosscup was originally added to the MLB roster on May 24th in a flurry of roster moves after being claimed off waivers from the Seattle Mariners.
Rosscup, 30, began his career with the Tampa Bay Rays but made his major league debut with the Chicago Cubs in 2013. In 6.2 innings in his first season, he pitched to an ERA of 1.
