TOP FIVE PLAYERS WHO PLAYED FOR BOTH THE YANKEES AND BLUE JAYS
Roger Clemens
After playing out his option with Boston in 1996, he signed with Toronto and won Cy Young Awards in both 1997 and 1998 with the Blue Jays but asked to be traded prior to the 1999 season. The Jays complied and sent Clemens to New York in exchange for infielder Homer Bush and pitchers David Wells and Graeme Lloyd. He won 83 games in two sojourns with the Yankees.
Dave Winfield
The future Hall of Famer broke in with San Diego but left as a free agent to join the Yankees eight years later, in 1981.
