The Blue Jays recalled switch-pitcher Pat Venditte from Triple-A Buffalo on Wednesday while designating right-hander Arnold Leon for assignment.
Venditte, 30, posted a 4.40 ERA in 26 appearances for the A's last season. He allowed two unearned runs over eight Grapefruit League appearances for the Blue Jays in Spring Training.
