TORONTO -- Aaron Sanchez has shown steady progress through each of his starts this season, and Tuesday night was no exception.
The Blue Jays right-hander turned in his second quality start of 2015, but he was still saddled with a loss as Toronto fell, 3-2, to the Angels at Rogers Centre.
"He pitched good enough to win. Their guy did, too, that was the problem," Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. "But he'll take a lot from this game; he went deep into the game and was very efficient. It just shows what he can do when he throws strikes.
