“I cheated?”
“No, you cheated!”
That's how a war of words has played out this week between a pair of ex-Blue Jays pitchers who accused the other of PED use in a back-and-forth battle.
Prior to Wednesday's Baseball Hall of Fame vote, Cy Young Award-winner Roy Halladay took to Twitter and urged members of the Baseball Writers' Association of America to not vote former teammate Roger Clemens into the Hall.
“When you use PEDs you admit (you're) not good enough to compete fairly! Our nation's pastime should have higher standards! No Clemens no Bonds!”
Clemens, of course, didn't receive the needed 75% of votes cast but did see his percentage rise from 37.
