LAKELAND, Fla. -- Blue Jays reliever TJ House was struck in the head on a line drive in the ninth inning of Friday's game against the Tigers at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium.
House looked to have been struck on the side of the head on a sharp hit by the Tigers' John Hicks. Prior to facing Hicks, House had given up a single to Jason Krizan.
House remained down on the mound for several minutes, and he appeared to be moving his legs while being tended to by the Blue Jays' medical staff.
