Price rights ship as Blue Jays down Orioles

Since mid-August the Blue Jays haven’t lost two games in a row.

David Price wasn’t about to let that happen Saturday.

Pitching like the ace he has been since the Jays acquired him from Detroit in July, Price limited the Baltimore Orioles to three hits in paving the way to a 5-1 victory Saturday afternoon.

The Jays lost the opener of the three-game series Friday night 10-2. They have not dropped consecutive games since Aug. 14-15.

Price, who moved to 14-5 on the season and 5-1 as a Jay, allowed a single by Chris Davis in the second, a double by Junior Lake in the third and an RBI-single by Caleb Joseph in the seventh and nothing more.
