Price may step in as bullpen's top left-hander

Price hasn't been used out of the bullpen since 2010, but the Blue Jays are going all in now that they face a win-or-go-home situation in the ALDS against the Rangers.

"He's going to do it, and then there's always a possibility that Price could pitch some tomorrow too," manager John Gibbons said of starting Dickey in Game 4.

"It's do-or-die, so you have to win that one. You have to win [Game 3], and then you definitely have to win that one. That's kind of the predicament that we're in."

The decision to use Price out of the bullpen comes at the same time the Blue Jays are scrambling to piece together their relievers after left-hander Brett Cecil tore his left calf muscle in Game 2.
