TORONTO - BALTIMORE - About two hours before game time on Saturday night, a Baltimore police unit with a sniffer dog marched into the Blue Jays clubhouse.
What they were looking for was kept a secret (of course), but apparently they were from the bomb squad. They did a quick sweep and didn’t find anything and the few players in the room at the time got a big kick out of the unexpected intrusion.
Someone joked that perhaps the dog was the latest call-up from Triple A Buffalo. For sure, the Jays’ roster has been a revolving door this year and that continued on Saturday.
