TORONTO -- Kevin Pillar hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 11th inning as the Blue Jays outlasted the Indians in a marathon on Friday night at Rogers Centre.
Pillar's 12th home run of the season came on a 2-1 slider from Cleveland right-hander Adam Cimber to secure the 3-2 win. It gave Toronto its eighth walk-off victory of the season and came on the same day first baseman Rowdy Tellez became the first American League rookie to double six times over a three-game stretch since Joe DiMaggio in 1936.
