TORONTO -- David Ortiz and Jackie Bradley Jr. homered while left-hander Eduardo Rodriguez tossed six strong innings in Boston's 4-3 victory over the Blue Jays on Tuesday night at Rogers Centre.
Boston did all of its damage against Blue Jays right-hander Marco Estrada, who took a no-hitter into the eighth inning of each of his previous two starts. That type of dominance was nowhere to be seen against Boston as he walked four in the first inning and allowed four runs -- two earned -- on three hits over 2 1/3 innings.
