Morales hits walk-off home run to snap Blue Jays' losing skid

TORONTO — Kendrys Morales hit a walk-off home run for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the ninth inning to give the Jays a 2-1 victory over the Baltimore Orioles at the Rogers Centre on Saturday afternoon.

The win snapped a seven game losing streak for the Jays, now 2-9. Morales hammered the Tyler Wilson offering to right-centre. Wilson took the loss. Toronto closer Roberto Osuna, who failed to preserve a 1-0 lead in the top of the ninth, got the win.

Darwin Barney, pinch hitting for Chris Coghlan in the seventh, smacked a two-out single off left-handed reliever Donny Hart to score Jose Bautista from second, giving the Jays a 1-0 lead.
