Buffalo, NY - Todd Redmond (2-5, 4.33) put in a quality start of six innings and three runs on five hits and two walks. The kill shot was a two-run homer by Matt Skole in the sixth to snap a 2-2 tie. Redmond struck out four for a Game Score of 54. Colt Hynes, Ben Rowen and Aaron Loup all pitched scoreless frames with one strikeout. Only Loup allowed a hit.
The Herd's only run came in the form of a Munenori Kawasaki groundout that sent Jon Berti home in the eighth after his leadoff single.
