MLB is doing a 'dream bracket' battle - interesting to see rosters. I'm sure everyone here has opinions on it.
The teams are at https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-dream-bracket-rosters
Jays ranked #11...
- Rotation: Roy Halladay (HOF), Dave Stieb (7 ASG), Jimmy Key (ERA title, 2nd Cy), Pat Hentgen (Cy), uan Guzman (ERA title)
- Swing: Jim Clancy, David Wells (was excellent in relief his first time here)
- C: Ernie Whitt (had more WAR as a Jay than Donaldson...who knew?)
- 1B: Carlos Delgado
- 2B: Roberto Alomar
- 3B: Josh Donaldson
- SS: Tony Fernandez
- LF: George Bell
- CF: Devon White
- RF: Jose Bautista
- DH: Edwin Encarnacion
Note: Roger Clemens (Red Sox), Fred McGriff (Rays) weren't listed for some reason, but they did allow players on multiple teams (Roberto Alomar is with the Jays, O's, Cleveland [3 years], and Padres [3 years there]).
