Martinez, Hentgen lead 2016 Canadian Hall of Fame class

Joining them as the Hall's newest inductees will be Tony Kubek, whose long run as a Toronto broadcaster followed a decorated career as an infielder; former scout Wayne Norton; longtime Toronto executive Howard Starkman; and the late baseball pioneer William Shuttleworth.

Hentgen and Starkman continue to play a role in the Blue Jays' success, as a special assistant and consultant, respectively.

Norton, a native of Port Moody, British Columbia, has been a Mariners scout covering Canada since 2000. He was named the Mariners International Scout of the Year in 2007, and Canadian Scout of the Year by the Canadian Baseball Network in 1998 and 2013.
