Mariners vs Blue Jays

If there's anyone else on the Toronto Blue Jays' pitching staff who is still seeking his first major league victory, manager John Gibbons might want to send them out to the mound Saturday night.

That formula has worked for the Blue Jays in the first two games of their four-game weekend series against the host Seattle Mariners.

On Thursday, Mike Hauschild signed a contract shortly before the game started and pitched six scoreless innings of relief as the Blue Jays won 7-3. That's the same Hauschild who had an 11.25 ERA in four appearances for the Texas Rangers last season and who was released from Triple-A Fresno by the Houston Astros.
