Long before he punched Bautista, Rangers' Odor slugged a minor leaguer

Texas Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor became public enemy No. 1 in Toronto on Sunday when he landed a right hook on Blue Jays superstar Jose Bautista following a hard slide at second base.

The punch, and an earlier beaning of the Jays slugger, were considered payback for Bautista’s infamous bat flip in Game 5 of the ALDS.

In 2011, Odor became the most hated man in the Northwest League when as a Spokane Indian he socked Vancouver Canadians second baseman Jon Berti with a punch that was very similar to the one he landed on Joey Bats.
