Kendrys' power surge shouldn't be a surprise

Kendrys Morales is closing in on history.

The Blue Jays slugger went deep in his seventh straight game on Sunday, as part of Toronto's 8-3 win over Philadelphia. If he homers Monday against the Orioles in Baltimore, Morales will tie the longest streak on record (since 1908), which has been done thrice before: Ken Griffey Jr. in 1993, Don Mattingly in 1987 and Dale Long in 1956.
