Divers who recovered the bodies of Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Fernandez and two of his friends after a boat crash last month off Miami's South Beach indicated all three had a strong odor of alcohol, according to a report by the Miami Herald.
Toxicology and autopsy results have not been released, but the Herald cited a search warrant affidavit it obtained as the source of its information. The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, which requested the warrant so it could search the boat, the GPS and two engines.
