WASHINGTON - After failing to make a crucial play that led to the winning runs Sunday during a 6-5 loss to the Minnesota Twins, Chris Colabello was out early working in the outfield with coach Dave Leiper and Jose Bautista at Nationals Park on Monday afternoon.
Colabello, rather than being the goat, is more a victim of circumstance. The Blue Jays need his bat in the lineup but with Bautista unable to play right field because of a sore right shoulder, they have stuck Colabello in the outfield where he has seldom played before.
