TORONTO - Life without Jose Bautista doesn’t seem so bad.
With Bautista out of the lineup the past two games after taking a cortisone shot to his right shoulder Sunday morning, the rest of the Blue Jays in the lineup have rolled up their sleeves and gone to work.
On Sunday, the lineup pounded out 10 hits and a pair of home runs in an 8-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners.
They kept up the offensive drumbeat Monday evening in the opening game of their three-game series against the Chicago White Sox by posting a 6-0 triumph. It marked their first back-to-back victories since beating the Boston Red Sox in consecutive games May 8 and 9.
