Aaron Sanchez appears headed for the disabled list.
The Blue Jays 21-year-old right-hander missed his start last Wednesday against Miami due to ‘body soreness’ and will not be making the start Tuesday in New York against the Mets either.
In fact, Sanchez likely will be placed on the DL list following Sunday’s game against Boston.
“He’s feeling better but right now but we’re not 100 percent sure what we’re going to do with that start or if he’s going to be ready or not,” pitching coach Pete Walker said before Sunday’s game. “More than likely we just skip him again and I think that would be the best thing.
