KANSAS CITY - A nagging sore finger isn't going to keep Edwin Encarnacion out of a big playoff game.
The big-hitting Blue Jays fielder will be back in the lineup Saturday for Game 2 of the American League Championship Series after leaving the opener Friday night to have X-rays on the ailing middle finger of his left hand.
Jays manager John Gibbons said that Encarnacion will be suiting up, however, as the team looks to spark an offence that was shutout by the Royals in the Game 1 loss.
“He's good to go. He's in there,” Gibbons said.
