CHICAGO - The Blue Jays were able to steal a win against the Tampa Rays with Ryan Tepesch starting.
Trying for the same against the reigning World Series champions was a significantly tougher assignment, however.
The Jays spot starter didn’t get lit up on Saturday at Wrigley Field, but with an offence held in check by Chicago starter Jose Quntana the visitors fell 4-3 to the Cubs.
With two losses here at the famed ball park to dull the positives of a 7-3 home stand, the Jays will attempt to avoid the sweep on Sunday afternoon when Marco Estrada faces the Cubs Kyle Hendricks in the series finale.
