DUNEDIN, FLA. - There are two relatively famous guys named Aaron Sanchez. The TV chef on The Food Network and the Toronto Blue Jays pitcher.
The bottom line is: Both have been cookin’.
Sanchez the pitcher continues to make a very strong case for himself to be named the club’s fifth starter heading into the regular season. In fact, the 23-year-old fireballer has been pitching in spring training like he could be a No.1 or No.2 starter on a lot of teams.
On Friday afternoon at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium, Sanchez largely mowed down the visiting Houston Astros -- his second straight impressive start.
