On Tuesday night, after giving up six earned runs on 12 hits over just 3.1 innings, Blue Jays starter Marco Estrada stood in the clubhouse, answering questions.
The Jays’ right-hander repeated a number of times that he really wasn’t too worried about his outing, that he threw some good pitches and the Tampa Bay Rays just hit them. But as Estrada talked about his performance, he subconsciously twisted back and forth, clearly not as calm as he professed to be.
A day later and Estrada was much more relaxed, but something was still bothering him about Tuesday night’s outing.
