The Cleveland Indians signed left-handers Tom Gorzelanny and Joe Thatcher to minor league contracts Monday with non-roster invitations to major league spring training camp.
Gorzelanny, 33, owns a major league record of 49-52 with a 4.34 ERA in 307 games (121 starts) throughout his 11-year career with five teams since debuting with the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2005. He spent most of the 2015 season with the Detroit Tigers after signing a one-year deal last January. He posted a 2-2 record with a 5.95 ERA over 39 innings in 48 games last season.
Thatcher, 34, owns a nine-year major league career record of 11-16 with a 3.
