Chris Colabello tested positive for the steroid dehydrochlormethyltestosterone, or Oral Turinabol and was banned for 80 days. Sportsnet’s Jamie Campbell had an exclusive interview with Colabello this week (which happens when you work for the same company) and it was certainly an emotional exchange. Colabello was on the verge of tears at times. He said it has been a gut-wrenching experience.
“I cried. I cried and cried and cried,” he said. “It hurts me to hear people to call into question my character.”
Again, what does he expect? Blind, unconditional support? We all hope he’s innocent and we hope some day proof of that will be forthcoming.
